Jupiter Algarve Hotel

The staff were warm and friendly. You felt like you mattered as a customer. The heated swimming pool was a handy addition for the time of year. The bar staff and breakfast staff were excellent. The cocktails were very reasonable priced and delicious.

First I want to say: Thank you Jupiter Algarve Hotel for a really nice stay. Jupiter Algarve Hotel is located alongside the Rocha Beach, which is a lovely, very clean beach. We booked a double room with a front sea view and the balcony, breakfast included. Our room was upgraded to the higher floor room as I requested with no extra charge. We got 10% voucher to use in the hotel restaurant and SPA . The room was beautiful with the coffee machine, the kettle and the free coffee pods and the tea bags. The balcony was good sized, sea view was exceptional. The room and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfortable. We got the free access to the outdoor heated pool. We are vegetarian and we don’t eat fish as well, but we have not been disappointed at the breakfast buffet. We had a plenty of choices. We also had a dinner twice in the evening at the hotel restaurant. It was in the form of buffet as well. The selection of food suitable for us was really good. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff in all hotel was really nice, friendly and helpful.

The location was spot on! Directly opposite the beach and in the centre of everything. Tea, coffee and fridge in the room. Breakfast buffet was a great selection and good quality. The evening buffet was amazing in every respect. Our balcony had a side view of the sea. We tried to upgrade on checkin but there was no availability, however after seeing the room we realised that we didn't need an upgrade. The staff are wonderful and so welcoming and accommodating. They go over and above.

I shared my room with my mum. The room was comfortable and clean. Our room had a side Seaview and it was lovely in the morning to sit in the sun and lookout.

I loved the direct sea view and terrase towards the Atlantic Ocean. They are worth to pay a little bit more. The colours in the room were in good harmony. The location was on the hotel street "Praia da Rocha" in the city of Portimao. The huge fine sand beach is very near, just to step stairs down from the street. The hotel JUPITER has also a large swimming pool. The breakfast at the large restaurant was fantastic with lots of fresh choice of healthy food and even with a glass of champagne to choose. The Xmas Party of 50 persons was in the evening including a buffet dinner with good food of many choices. The service of drinks was quick and polite. The personnel at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend JUPITER HOTEL to my friends visiting Algarve, Portugal. In autumn the prices are very reasonable, and often the weather is good here.
